What led me to my passion?

Ever since I was a child, crafting has been what made me shine. I love to get my hands on things that I can be proud of. I enjoy doing anything that involves the art of creating like cooking, crocheting, clay making, painting, and ultimately designing. Today as a user experience designer I am motivated to find solutions for users by creating intuitive user interfaces. It allows me to explore in-depth, to know the power of aesthetics, to influence the user experience.

Things I value

• 🧪 Measured Empathy: I value empathy, not just as a feeling, but as a discipline. My approach centers on balancing human needs with quantitative data and technical constraints. I seek to understand the why behind user behavior, allowing me to design interventions that are ethically sound and strategically effective.
• 👀 Curiosity as a Default: I approach every project with the assumption that I have more to learn—about the user, the technology, and the business goals. This mindset fuels continuous growth and ensures I'm constantly questioning assumptions, testing new tools, and pushing my own expertise.
• 📚 Multidisciplinary Integration: I believe the best solutions are found at the intersection of diverse fields. I actively use insights from psychology, narrative structure, and even coding to approach problems holistically and ensure our designs connect emotionally, logically, and systematically.
• ⛰️ Egoless- Iterations: Design is inherently uncertain, and I recognize that the data is always the highest authority. I am committed to failing fast, learning quickly, and openly admitting when a hypothesis or design direction is proven wrong. True success comes from prioritizing the team's shared goal over being individually right.

• 🫟 Being Crafty: When I am not applying to jobs or working, I like to make clay magnets, paint , draw on Procreate, sketch, complete design challenges, and cook!
• 🦄 Losing Myself in BookLand: I love to read different genres, unlocking new favorite stories. My current favorites are: mystery, romance, personal- growth, poems, and informative non-fiction novels.
• 🧘🏽‍♀️Being Mindful: Recently, I have been trying to be more in tune with myself and listen to what my body needs. I practice being mindful by meditating, excercising, and journaling about my big feelings.
